Dr. Varinder Mann- Veterinarian
Dr. Varinder Mann is practicing Veterinary Medicine for last 17 years. He graduated from School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin, Madison in May 2002. He practiced Veterinary Medicine in Chicago, owned his own practice in Seattle, WA for 7 years, now practicing in Fresno, California for couple of years. He also worked as Supervisory Veterinary Medical Officer with Food safety and Inspection Service with United states of Department of Agriculture for 7 years in California. His main interests include internal medicine, surgery, Dermatology, and emergency care. He is a member of the CVMA, SCVMA, IAVMA. He loves being a Veterinarian and loves helping pets. He is also a Certified Proctor Gallagher Institute Consultant for helping peoples to achieve their goals and live their dream life. His hobbies include reading, music and spending time with his dog and cat named Oscar and Una, travelling. He lived in California with his beautiful wife, 2 daughters and his pets. Dr. Mann strives to improve pet lives via quality veterinary care and encourages owners to take an active role in their pet’s health
Katelyn - Veterinary Assistant
Katelyn has been with Care Veterinary Hospital for almost 2 years now. She is currently enrolled at Fresno State University; majoring in Animal Science- Pre-Vet. Her love for animals stemmed from feeding every stray dog she could find in her hometown and watching Animal Cops- Houston as a kid. Outside of work, she is either studying, watching Rick and Morty, or playing with her crazy Labrador; Sadie.
Krystal - Veterinary Assistant
Krystal has been working as a Vet assistant at Care Veterinary Hospital since June 2018. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a bachelor’s degree in animal science with a Pre-Veterinary Emphasis. She has always had a love for animals, both big and small, and aspires to become a Veterinarian herself but of mixed practice with a higher emphasis of large animals. She has a playful Siberian husky named Sasha and a boxer named Roxy. When she is not working here, she works part-time at another veterinary facility.
Adam Garcia- Veterinary Assistant
Adam has been working at Care Veterinary Hospital for two years. He went to SJVC's vet tech program, and completed an internship with us. Adam owns all types of animals from dogs and cats, to reptiles and fish. On his days off, he enjoys going outdoors with his dog Pepper, who's a German Shepherd Mix. His passion for animals began growing up around animals. He has a special interest in exotic animals, specifically snakes. Adam wants to eventually work in exotic animal medicine.
Stephanie Nunez- Veterinary Assistant
Stephanie graduated the Vet Assistant program in January and started working for Care Veterinary Hospital in February. When she is not working or helping others pets she is cuddling with her 12 year old beagle mix or spending time with her nieces. I hope to be able to work with therapy/service dogs one day!
Mariha Corona- Veterinary Assistant
Mariha has graduated from San Joaquin Valley College, as a Vet Assistant in 2019. And now starting her journey at Care Veterinary Hospital. She's been loving animals since she was about 3 years old. She has always been having more than five animals at a time. Currently she has five dogs, one bunny, one bird, one bearded dragon, a fish , a hamster and a turtle.
Janiece Ortiz- Veterinary Assistant
Jaee is a recent Vet Assistant graduate from San Joaquin Valley College seeking to apply skills and knowledge in order to accurately accomplish clinical tasks to its full potential. She is a passionate animal lover, who has provided housing and care for homeless dogs and coordinated adoptions periodically over the past 10 years. Motivated to further her education on new feline and canine physical Therapy Rehabilitation modalities to improve practice.
Yasmeen Alvarez- Veterinary Assistant
Yasmeen has been with Care Veterinary Hospital for over a year now. She graduated from SJVC as a Vet Assistant. Her passion with animals has been there since she was a child, always loving and caring for them the best she can. She has one cat of her own whose name is Dexter, her sweet orange tabby. Her reason for coming into this field is all because her mother. She enjoys every day she spends at Care Vet to help the animals, giving quality care along side a wonderful team. When she is not in the hospital you can find her watching Criminal minds while Dexter lays beside her or shopping at Target.
Iliana LaNovara- Veterinary Assistant
Iliana has been working at Care Veterinary Hospital for over year now. She started as an intern and fell in love with being able to treat animals. She has loved all animals her whole life and currently has 4 dogs at home, one shih tzu, a black lab, a shih tzu mix and a German Shepard. She is continuing her education through community college in order to pursue her dream of being a Veterinarian. Eventually, she would love to move into helping livestock.
